The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind, salvation, and the life of faith.

(John 10:35, Matthew 5:18, 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20 - 21)

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in perfect unity in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 28:19, Acts 5:3 - 4, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

God the Father

We believe that God the Father is the first Person of the Trinity, the eternal and sovereign Creator of all things, who lovingly sustains and rules over His creation in perfect unison, according to His perect will.

(Genesis 1:1-2, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:3, Psalm 33:6-9, Psalm 110:1)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son, being fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and serves as our supreme example for honoring God and serving others - including the downtrodden and locked out, We believe Jesus died on the cross as the complete sacrifice for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead as our Risen King. We believe He is the head of the Church and that He will return physically one day in Glory.

(Luke 1:38, 2:40, 4:18 - 21, John 1:1, 8:58, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthains 1:15 - 20, Titus 2:13)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit ministers in this age to move us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. He also serves to indwell us, guide us, instruct us, encourage us, comfort us, heal us, grow us, and empower us for godly living in community with one another, and spiritual gifting to make a difference in the lives of other people.

(John 16:8-10, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:4, Galatians 5:22-23)

Humanity

We believe all humans are created in God's image as the apex of God’s eternal love but are damaged because of sin. Therefore, all humanity needs redemption-not because humanity is bad, but because humanity is sinful, in need of God’s everlasting grace.

(Gensis 1:26-27, Romans 3:23, 5:12)

Salvation

We believe Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead that we might have eternal salvation. Thus, we believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and not as a result of any works that we do. We believe eternal life begins the moment we exercise faith in Christ and that salvation will last forever.

(Romans 5:1, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians, 3:13, Ephesians 2:8 - 9)

The Church

We believe the church is the living Body of Christ and comprises of all true believers in Jesus Christ. Christ is the head of the church, the source of church life, which exists to glorify God in the earth. The church is the loving partner of Jesus Christ to make a difference in the world for the glory of God.

(Matthew 5:14-16, 16:15-19, Acts 2:41-47, Ephesians 4:11-16)

Future

We believe Jesus Christ will physically return to the earth to establish an eternal kingdom. Righteousness and justice will reign in full. This is the hope of every follower of Jesus, where we will live with Him forever.

(John 14:1-3, Matthew 24:29-31, Revelation 19:11-21)
