The mission of Christ Community's Special Events Team is to glorify God by helping to plan, organize, and execute Christ-centered events that strengthen relationships, celebrate milestones, and are a blessing to the entire community.
Christ Community's Special Events Team helps execute our special events like Family & Friends Days, Easter Extravaganza, churchwide conferences, and other large ministry events that bless our church and community. The Special Events Team various roles including: advance logistics, decorations, setting up food and beverages, setting up/breaking down sanctuary chairs (and tables, if rented), serving food, and cleaning up after the event.
The Special Events Team reports to the full-time staff of Christ Community, working with them behind the scenes to create welcoming, meaningful, and memorable experiences that reflect the love, joy, and unity of Christ. These various events are scheduled months in advance throughout the year, enabling team members to commit to specific events when available.
