Coffee Break creates an easy, relaxed opportunity for the women of Christ Community to connect and build relationships on a weekly basis. Coffee Break is easy and relaxed in that (1) we meet right after church, (2) anyone can come and go as they please, (3) there is no set agenda other than we typically discuss the sermon, but we also discuss other pressing issues, whether personal or broader in scope, and (4) you don’t have to “do” anything other than show up!
This ministry is for any woman – any age, any status and any season of life, who desires to build connection with other women at Christ Community. Coffee Break provides encouragement, support and friendship.
Meeting Times
Coffee Break meets after service every Sunday via Zoom ("Coffee Break Online"). (Even ladies who attend church in person join the Zoom call from their cars.) In addition, on 2nd and 4th Sundays, Coffee Break meets in person after the church service ("Coffee Break Live"). Periodically, we do brunch instead of the typical online or in person gathering. Coffee Break meetings usually last from 1 1/2 to 2 hours, but that time is flexible for every participant.

Text Chat following a Nov. 2024 Coffee Break
Good morning ladies. I always enjoy coffee chat with yall and hate that I had to leave early yesterday. But this beautiful verse was in my reading this morning and I felt it was the best answer to one of our discussion topics on "Sex and Singleness." This could really apply to everyone of us and wanted to share: "Praise the Lord O my soul...who SATISFIES your DESIRES with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." Psalms 103:5 NIV. Hope this blessed you like it did me. Have a great day.
Amen good morning everyone conversation was popping after you left
I looooove looooove Coffee Break. Oh and Good morning yall.
Good morning. Such a rich, transparent convo. Ladies thank you for your presence and sharing at CB Live and at Christ Community generally. You bring to life the 'community' we all pray for.
Good morning everyone! I just love my church family! You guys are the "realest"!
