Dr. Terrence Autry

Dr. Terrence Autry lives with passion for serving God and His people. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Christ Community in Richardson, TX. In April 1998, the Lord led him to start the church, which he has led for 21 years. Dr. Autry also is very active in the community. He serves as President of Let’s Elevate, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to supplying college scholarships and inspiring career opportunities for Dallas area youth and adults. He also serves as a board member of the Men’s Advocacy group of New Friends New Life, an organization dedicated to transitioning sexually trafficked and exploited women and children into mainstream society.  Recently, he has partnered with Dallas Leadership Foundation’s youth division to work with young African American and Latino boys in Richardson high schools, and has worked with other community leaders in speaking out against Pay Day Lending.

Dr. Autry is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Th.M. degree, and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree. He has authored two books.  His first, The Flourishing Marriage: How to Create a Healthy Climate for Your Marriage, was released in March 2016 and has blessed many couples and singles alike. (Its workbook companion guide was released in 2019.)   Dr. Autry’s second book, What Your Father Should Have Told You: Wise Words for Today’s Woman was released in the Fall of 2019 and already has blessed numerous women.  A native of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Autry is an avid Lakers fan.

Terrence Autry has been married to his best friend in life, Lisa, for over 30 years. They have two young adult sons, Terrence, II, and Daniel. Most importantly, Dr. Autry is a man of faith who loves the Lord and people.
