Dr. Terrence Autry lives with passion for serving God and His people. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Christ Community in Richardson, TX. In October of 1997, the Lord led him to start the church, which he has led for over 20 years. Dr. Autry also is very active in the community. He serves on the Men’s Advocacy board of New Friends New Life, an organization dedicated to transitioning sexually trafficked and exploited women and children into mainstream society. Recently, he has partnered with Dallas Leadership Foundation’s youth division to work with young African American and Latino boys in Richardson high schools, and has worked with other community leaders in speaking out against Pay Day Lending and Social Injustice. Dr. Autry serves as a board member of the Richardson Police Academy/Policy Review Board, working to build community relations with the police department to ensure police accountability and safety for the Richardson community.
Dr. Autry is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Th.M. degree, and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree. He is the author of three books: The Flourishing Marriage: How to Create a Healthy Climate for Your Marriage, The Flourishing Marriage Discussion Guide, and his most recent release, What Your Father Should Have Told You: Wise Words for Today’s Woman. A native of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Autry also is an avid Lakers fan.
Terrence Autry has been married to his best friend in life, Lisa, for over 31 years. They have two young adult sons, Terrence, II, and Daniel. Most importantly, Dr. Autry is a man of faith who loves the Lord and people.
